BAHA & LMHA Announcement: U13 Female Hockey Pilot Project Leduc Minor Hockey Association (LMHA) and Beaumont Amateur Hockey Association (BAHA) are proud to announce a U13 Female Hockey pilot project for the 2022-23 season.
BAHA and LMHA created this joint venture in the interest of developing female hockey in the local region. The pilot will result in tiered hockey teams where athletes will play with and against like skilled athletes. To offer this one-year pilot, all U13 female athletes currently registered to play female hockey in BAHA will register in LMHA for 2022-23. Player evaluations will result in two, tiered U13 female teams. Both teams will compete in the Edmonton Federation Hockey League (EFHL) as LMHA teams. One team will practice/play primarily in Leduc, the other in Beaumont.
Questions regarding this pilot can be directed to Denise Broadbent, LMHA VP Female at vpfemale@lmha.ab.ca.
Questions and answers will be posted on the LMHA Female Rec Teams Homepage. Click on the Q and A Female Hockey Pilot tab at the top of the page.
