2018 New Years Goaltender Sessions: Atom - Midget

BAHA is hosting a post X-mas 2 day goalie camp for Atom - Midget age groups. Dates and times:

         January 4th

• Atom - Peewee 9:00-10:00 AM Rink 1

• Peewee - Bantam - Midget 10:15-11:15 AM Rink 1

• Classroom session 11:45-1:00 PM Classroom room at the arena

  January 5th

• Peewee - Bantam - Midget 9:00-10:00 AM Rink 1

• Atom - Peewee 10:15-11:15 AM Rink 1

• Classroom session 11:45-1:00 PM Classroom room at the arena

  (exact location TBD)

  The on and off ice session will be managed and instructed by Ian Gordon (www. Iangordongoaltending.com). Ian has been a professional instructor for many years and currently is the goalie consultant for the Seattle Thunderbirds and works with the Beaumont Hockey Academy.

  There will be a total of 3-4 instructors on the ice including Ian. Concepts will include:

• crease movements;

• agility and recovery drills;

• rebound control and puck tracking; and

• puck handling (for the older groups).

  The off ice sessions will include (but not limited to):

• game film review and situational play;

• video analysis; and

• discuss on and off ice preparation for games and what it means to be a good teammate.

The cost to attend the session is $80/goalie. The registration link is provided below. Lunch will not be provided.

Once we have a good idea of numbers for each age level I will send out a schedule to all attendees on what times their goaltenders will be on the ice for the 2 day camp.
