Volunteer General Information

• Members are required to fulfill 2 Volunteer Commitment Shifts per Child - there is no maximum shifts for families.

• As per the Volunteer Policy shared on August 29th, 2025 - As of September 1st, 2025, for any shift cancelled by the volunteer within 48 hours of the start of your shift, or a no show to your shift will result in a requirement of making up the missed shift plus an additional shift.  

• BAHA has the right to cancel volunteer shifts up until 24 hours prior to the start of the shift, if it's canceled within the 24 hour window we will still honor your credit, if it's cancelled prior to that you will be required to sign up for a new shift. BAHA will send 1 email informing you of the change/cancellation of the shift then delete from the volunteer site. You will no longer receive any reminder or confirmation emails. 

IF YOU NEED TO HAVE ANY CHANGES MADE TO YOUR SHIFT PLEASE ONLY EMAIL VP-ADMIN@BAHA.AB.CA NO OTHER BOARD MEMBER CAN HELP YOU CHANGE, EDIT OR GET VOLUNTEER SHIFT INFORMATION.

TEAM VOLUNTEER CREDITS AVAILABLE

HEAD COACH - ALL family required volunteer duties (no matter how many children in the assocition)

TEAM MANAGER - ALL family required volunteer duties (no mater how many children in the association)

ASSISTANT COACHES - 2 BAHA Association volunteer credits

TREASURUER - 2 BAHA Association volunteer credits

BAHA RAFFLE COORDINATOR - 1 BAHA Association volunteer credit

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR - 1 BAHA Association volunteer credit

TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER  - 2 BAHA Association volunteer credits (required for U7, U11 & U13 only)

PARENT LIAISON -  - 2 BAHA Association volunteer credits

JERSEY PARENT - 1 BAHA Association volunteer credit per jesey set

IMPORTANT: All volunteer shifts posted are subject to change up to 24 hours in advance.
